The private number...

I never mentioned the following story to anyone except family and close friends:

I’m a citizen of Israel and America, so I was able to fly back and forth without taking the jabs.

When I landed in Israel in May 2021, I put on my health entry form that i'm not vaxxed.

During my mandatory quarantine, I was visited twice by folks from the Ministry of Health. Totally “normal” at the time.

Roughly 3 or 4 days into my quarantine, I get a phone call from a private number. I don’t pick up.

My roommate was on the balcony at the time and tells me to come out because there’s someone on the street asking for me.

(We live on the 2nd floor of a 3-floor walkup building)

I come out and see a man dressed like the character Doron from the Netflix series ‘Fauda’. Black polo shirt and blue jeans. Built like a tank.

The man asks me: “Are you Tzvi?”

Me: “Yes”

Him: "Why you don't pick up the phone?!"

I respond: "I don't pick up calls from private numbers."

Him: "If you see private number, it's police...pick up next time."

Mind you…our dear Bibi told us that he would not use Shabak-level surveillance on his citizens…ie, the level of surveillance used to track terrorists.

This took me for a loop, to say the least. It’s something I will never forget.

That a supposedly “Jewish” government could do this to its citizens.

Rest assured, it can happen again…and next time, the interaction I had with the cop most likely won’t be so “parve”.
